It was great to meet and be able to thank some of the volunteers including the amazing Ros last night (Tuesday) that have been working to keep the multi skilled and multi agency task force fed and watered whilst working on the dam.
It was really impressive to see the difference in the water levels and general work that was ongoing across the site, even since my last visit on the Monday.
All the various agencies, military staff and the many volunteers that have been working both at the dam site and across the High Peak deserve our thanks and praise.
